Core Web Vitals

Google's set of metrics measuring real-world page experience: loading speed, interactivity, and visual stability.

Core Web Vitals are a set of measurements Google uses to score how good a page feels to use for real visitors. They focus on three things: how quickly the main content loads, how fast the page responds when you interact with it, and how stable the layout is while it loads.

The three metrics are commonly known as LCP (loading), INP (responsiveness), and CLS (visual stability). They are part of Google's ranking signals, so a slow or jumpy page can hold you back. You can check your scores for free using Google's PageSpeed Insights tool.
