XML Sitemap
A file listing the important pages on your site to help search engines find and crawl them efficiently.
An XML sitemap is a file that lists the pages on your website you want search engines to know about. Think of it as handing Google a map of your site so it can find your content faster, especially pages that are new or buried deep in your structure.
It is particularly valuable for large sites, new sites with few backlinks, or sites with pages that are not well linked together. Once created, you submit your sitemap through Google Search Console so Google can use it to guide its crawling.
