Title Tag

The clickable headline that shows for your page in Google search results and at the top of the browser tab.

A title tag is the HTML element that tells search engines and people what a page is about. It appears as the big blue clickable headline in Google results and as the label on the browser tab. It is one of the most important on-page signals you can control.

For best results keep your title under about 60 characters so it does not get cut off, put your main keyword near the front, and include your business or location where it makes sense (for example "Plumber in Parramatta"). Every page should have a unique, descriptive title that reads naturally to a real person.
