Domain Authority
A third-party score estimating how likely a website is to rank in search, based largely on its backlink profile.
Domain Authority (DA) is a score, usually from 1 to 100, created by SEO tool companies to estimate how strong a website is likely to be in search results. It is based heavily on the quantity and quality of backlinks a site has earned. A higher score generally suggests a better chance of ranking.
It is important to understand this is a third-party metric, not something Google uses or publishes. Treat it as a rough comparison tool for sizing up competitors or potential link partners, not as a target to obsess over. Real rankings depend on many factors beyond any single score.
