Analytics
Impressions
The number of times your listing appears in search results, whether or not anyone clicks it.
Impressions count how many times your website appeared in someone's search results, regardless of whether they clicked. If your page shows up in the results for 500 searches in a week, that is 500 impressions. It is a measure of visibility rather than visits.
Impressions are most useful when paired with clicks and click-through rate in Google Search Console. Lots of impressions but few clicks can mean your ranking is low or your listing is not enticing enough, pointing you towards opportunities to improve titles, descriptions, or rankings.
